Fugue produces a diverse literary voice of new and emerging writers through poetry, plays, fiction, nonfiction and interviews with established, award-winning writers. Our editorial staff selects only the best writing from hundreds upon hundreds of submissions over a seven month submission period. Printing in summer/fall and printing digitally in winter/spring, issues are approximately 120 pages.

In addition to the print and online issue, subscribers receive exclusive content from our contributors and archives when our digital issue is distributed in the winter/spring.

Flight of Writers 2017 - Tickets

Fugue is proud to announce our annual fundraiser, "Flight of Writers," to be held at Bloom Restaurant in Moscow, ID on April 14th at 7:00 p.m. Our guest readers this year are Nance Van Winckel (poetry + prose), Keetje Kuipers (poetry), Buddy Levy (nonfiction), Tiffany Midge (poetry), and Benjamin James (screenwriting). Each 10-15 minute reading will be paired with a particular wine, courtesy of our own in-house sommelier and nonfiction editor/expert, Paul Warmbier. Tickets for the evening include a five-wine flight, hors d'oeuvres, the chance to enter a door prize raffle, and, of course, five fantastic readings by five fantastic writers. Only 50 tickets are available, so get on it!

Tickets are available through our usual UI Marketplace website, and cost $25 for students and $35 for general admission. Tickets can be mailed to you or picked-up in person at 200 Brink Hall, 875 Perimeter Drive MS 1102 Moscow, Idaho 83844-1102. Again, this is a fundraiser, and one that plays an integral part in helping Fugue do what it does best, so we thank you in advance (and can't wait to see you there).
