Artist statement: Collage is a remarkable medium for deconstructing and reconstructing reality. My art practice revolves around experimenting with the juxtaposition of seemingly unrelated elements that may reveal unexpected connections. My sources of inspiration include written works, like poems, alongside landscapes, such as the lush slopes of the nearby mountains. A common theme of my collages is the dual nature of the intricate modern world. Even the harshest environments, like the rugged ocean for example, are infused with beauty. The digital collages you see here blend surreal elements with everyday scenes, inviting viewers to celebrate the spirit of adventure and perceive familiar places in a new light.
